01Quarry

Open-cut mining “Babin Kal” is loated on the territory of Bela Palanka, 35 km from Niš. Aggregate originates from limestone and is separated in different fractions: 0-4mm; 4-8mm; 8-16mm; 16-22mm; 16-31.5mm; 0-31.5mm; 0-63mm; 0-100mm. Apart from these gradations, we perform aggregate crushing and breaking into target coarseness at client’s request.

All our aggregates are tested in authorized laboratories and have attests.The quality is even, the size of fractions is determined on the basis of buyer’s needs whereby products are transported to the client in the shortest time possible.

Quality control

In the quarry, quality control is continuously performed in accordance with the Order on mandatory certification of fractional stone aggregate for concrete and asphalt. The causes for the examination are taken and examined by the authorized organization for performing the tasks of obligatory attestation and the attestation on the quality of the aggregate fraction is issued.

Stone from our quarry can be used:

As hydro-technical stone for the installation of river regulating facilities in the form of:

Semi-processed stone for slopes boarding of revetments

As broken stone of various coarseness for the construction of ″feet” – the foundation and body of regulating facilities and other hydro-technical facilities;

As broken stone

Category II, for the production of road beds of railways for passenger and freight transport;

As a tampon for the production of lower base and mechanically stabilized (tampon) courses of pavement structures;

As a tampon for the production of protective courses of road beds, from aggregate with the coarseness of 0/31.5mm and 0/45mm;

For the production of asphalt mixtures for the production of:

Surface course – wearing courses of dense tar under hot procedure, on roads, with light groups of traffic load (SRPS U.E4.014/1990),

Upper base course of pavement structures of bitumen felt materials under hot procedure, on roads of all groups of traffic load (SRPS U.E4.021/1986),

Lower base courses of pavement structures of bitumen felt materials under hot procedure (SRPS U.E9.028/1980)

For the production of cement-concrete mixtures for the production of:

Cement-concrete (SRPS B.B2.009/1986),

Lower courses of cement-concrete of cement-concrete decks (SRPS U.E3.020/1987);

For brick masonry

Concrete factories

Our first factory started working in 2002 and in 2005 it was modernized by introducing a new software for the management of concrete production which brought about a complete automation of cement feeders, fractions and watercourse in the process of concrete fabrication. Later on a mobile concrete plant was included in the equipment, with a capacity of 100m3 /h, as well as one more stationary and completely automated concrete factory, laboratory and a plant for fresh concrete recycling.

Crushed limestone aggregate from our quarry, with declared fractions and contolled moisture content, is used for concrete production. The whole process of production and quality control is performed in accordance with applicable standards.

Quality control

Special consideration is given to continual quality control. In our testing laboratory tests are performed on fresh and hardened concrete and component materials. Checks are performed for concrete compressive strength, aggregate grain size distribution, aggregate moisture content and tests are also performed for cement (initial and final setting and cement soundness). All tests are performed under the control of accredited laboratories. Our laboratory works in close cooperation with the laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture in Niš and Central Road Laboratory in Novi Sad.

Sale and Delivery of Concrete

The capacity of our concrete factory of 250 m3/h and a completely automated process of concrete production enable a reliable delivery and leveled quality of concrete.

•All types of standard transport concrete from grade 10 to 60 (MB 10, MB 60).
•Self-compacting concrete – SCC.
•Semi-dry concrete.
•Sprayed concrete.
•Concretes of special characteristics depending on the expected class of exposure (sulfate resisting concrete.
•Concretes resistant to frost; concretes resistant to frost, frost, and salts for defrosting; waterproof concretes, etc.).
•The concrete of target characteristics according to client’s needs.

The high quality of raw material components, professional personnel as surveyors in the in the process of production and regular laboratory controls of component materials and produced concrete guarantee the continued high quality of production services, transportation services, and concrete pumping services.

Reinforcement processing and metal working plant

Crushed limestone aggregate from our quarry, with declared fractions and controlled moisture content, is used for concrete production. The whole process of production and quality control is performed in accordance with applicable standards.

We achieve target performance and speed which satisfy our needs (production of prefabricated elements and supplying construction sites with required reinforcement for positions carried out in situ). Apart from reinforcement processing for company’s purposes, we provide services of reinforcement processing according to orderer’s specifications (cutting, bending, production of cages, transport and mounting on site).

Locksmith sector

Apart from the reinforcement processing plant, within the production plant operates the metal working sector with required equipment for the accurate steel processing. Our professional team performs corrections and produces special extensions for casting prefabricated elements when mounting AB constructions as well as other processes for company’s purposes.
